Shipping Policy

Thank you for shopping with Assembly. This Shipping Policy explains how we process, package, ship, and handle orders placed through our website, online store, eBay store, or other approved sales channels.

By placing an order with Assembly, you agree to the terms of this Shipping Policy.


1. Order Processing Time

Orders are typically processed within 1–3 business days after payment is received and verified.

Business days are Monday through Friday, excluding major holidays, store closures, severe weather events, carrier disruptions, and other circumstances outside of our control.

During high-volume periods, product launches, holidays, sales events, conventions, or major trading card releases, processing times may be longer.

We make reasonable efforts to ship orders as quickly as possible, but processing times are estimates and are not guaranteed.


2. Shipping Carriers

We may ship orders using one or more of the following carriers:

  • USPS
  • UPS
  • FedEx
  • eBay Standard Envelope, when applicable
  • Other approved shipping services or platforms

The available shipping options may vary depending on the item type, order value, package size, destination, and sales platform.

We reserve the right to select the most appropriate carrier and shipping method unless a specific shipping service was purchased and confirmed at checkout.


3. Shipping Rates

Shipping rates are calculated based on factors such as:

  • Package weight
  • Package dimensions
  • Shipping destination
  • Selected shipping method
  • Insurance requirements
  • Signature confirmation requirements
  • Marketplace or platform shipping rules

Shipping costs, if applicable, will be shown at checkout or listed in the product listing.

For eBay orders, shipping rates and services will follow the shipping terms shown in the individual eBay listing.


4. Free Shipping

Some items may qualify for free shipping.

Free shipping, when offered, applies only to eligible items and eligible destinations. Free shipping may not apply to oversized items, high-value orders, international orders, special orders, bulk orders, or certain marketplace listings.

We reserve the right to change, modify, or discontinue free shipping offers at any time.


5. Local Pickup

Local pickup may be available for select orders.

If local pickup is selected, you will receive instructions when your order is ready. Please do not arrive for pickup until you have received confirmation that your order is ready.

You may be required to show:

  • Order confirmation
  • Photo identification
  • Payment card used for purchase
  • eBay or marketplace confirmation, when applicable

Orders not picked up within [Insert Pickup Window, Example: 7 Days] may be canceled, refunded, restocked, or converted to store credit at our discretion.


6. Delivery Estimates

Delivery estimates are provided by the shipping carrier or sales platform and are not guaranteed by Assembly.

Estimated delivery times do not include order processing time.

Assembly is not responsible for delays caused by:

  • Shipping carriers
  • Weather
  • Natural disasters
  • Holidays
  • Incorrect or incomplete addresses
  • Customs processing
  • Labor disruptions
  • High shipping volume
  • Carrier routing issues
  • Marketplace platform delays
  • Events outside of our reasonable control

Once an order has been handed to the shipping carrier, delivery timing is controlled by the carrier.


7. Tracking Information

Tracking information will be provided when available.

Tracking may be sent by email, through your customer account, through eBay, or through the marketplace where the order was placed.

Some low-cost shipping methods, such as eBay Standard Envelope or other letter-mail services, may provide limited tracking updates compared to standard package services.

Tracking updates may take time to appear after a label is created or after the carrier receives the package.


8. Trading Card Singles Shipping

Trading card singles may be shipped using one of several methods depending on order value, quantity, destination, and platform rules.

Possible shipping methods may include:

  • eBay Standard Envelope
  • USPS Ground Advantage
  • USPS First-Class style letter mail, when available
  • Bubble mailer with tracking
  • Boxed shipping for higher-value or larger orders

Cards are packaged with reasonable care, which may include penny sleeves, top loaders, semi-rigid holders, team bags, cardboard protection, bubble mailers, or other protective materials depending on the order.

For lower-value card singles shipped through eBay Standard Envelope or similar services, tracking may be limited and packaging may be designed to meet carrier thickness and weight requirements.

Assembly is not responsible for normal carrier handling, minor envelope wear, or tracking limitations associated with economy card shipping methods.


9. Sealed Trading Card Products, Games, and Collectibles Shipping

Sealed trading card products, board games, miniatures, collectibles, and similar items are packaged with reasonable care to help protect them during transit.

However, minor cosmetic wear to outer packaging may occur during shipping, including small dents, corner wear, scuffs, plastic wrap imperfections, or box compression.

Unless specifically stated in the listing, sealed products are sold as retail products, not guaranteed mint-condition display collectibles.

Customers who require collector-grade packaging should contact us before ordering to confirm whether additional packaging options are available.


10. Skateboard and Oversized Product Shipping

Skateboards, decks, trucks, wheels, helmets, pads, apparel, and other skate products may require different shipping methods based on size and weight.

Oversized, heavy, or irregularly shaped items may have additional shipping charges.

Complete skateboards, assembled products, or large orders may require extra processing time.

We reserve the right to contact the customer if an order requires additional shipping charges due to size, weight, destination, or carrier restrictions.


11. Combined Shipping

We may offer combined shipping when multiple items are purchased together or within a short period of time.

For website orders, combined shipping may be calculated automatically at checkout.

For eBay orders, combined shipping may be available when items are added to the cart before checkout or when a combined invoice is requested before payment.

Once an order has been paid for or shipped, we may not be able to combine shipping or refund shipping charges.


12. Address Accuracy

Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address at checkout.

Please verify your shipping address before submitting an order.

Assembly is not responsible for orders shipped to incorrect, incomplete, outdated, or undeliverable addresses provided by the customer.

If an order is returned to us due to an incorrect address, failed delivery, refusal, or failure to pick up from the carrier, the customer may be responsible for additional shipping charges to resend the order.

If the customer requests a refund instead of reshipment, original shipping costs may not be refundable.

For eBay and marketplace orders, we can only ship to the address provided through the marketplace checkout system.


13. Shipping Address Changes

Address changes may not be possible after an order is placed.

For security reasons, eBay orders and other marketplace orders must ship to the address provided at checkout. We cannot change the shipping address outside of the marketplace system.

If an incorrect address was entered, the order may need to be canceled and repurchased with the correct address, subject to order status and platform rules.


14. Lost Packages

If tracking shows that a package is delayed or missing, please contact us so we can assist with the carrier process where possible.

A package may not be considered lost until the carrier’s required waiting period has passed.

Resolution for lost packages may depend on:

  • Carrier investigation results
  • Tracking information
  • Insurance coverage
  • Delivery confirmation
  • Shipping method used
  • Marketplace policies
  • Order value

If a package is confirmed lost by the carrier, we may offer a replacement, refund, store credit, or other resolution depending on the circumstances and available coverage.

For eBay orders, lost package claims may be handled according to eBay policies and carrier tracking records.


15. Packages Marked Delivered

If tracking shows that an order was delivered but you cannot locate it, please check:

  • Mailbox
  • Porch
  • Front desk
  • Parcel locker
  • Leasing office
  • Household members
  • Neighbors
  • Local post office or carrier facility

Once a package is marked delivered by the carrier, Assembly is not responsible for theft, misdelivery, porch piracy, or loss after delivery confirmation.

We will assist where reasonable, but refunds or replacements are not guaranteed for packages marked delivered.

For high-value orders, we may require signature confirmation to help prevent delivery issues.


16. Damaged Packages

If your order arrives damaged, please contact us as soon as possible.

Please keep all packaging materials, including the box, mailer, packing materials, and damaged items, until the issue is resolved.

We may request:

  • Photos of the damaged item
  • Photos of the outer packaging
  • Photos of the shipping label
  • Photos of packing materials
  • A written description of the issue

Damage claims may need to be submitted to the shipping carrier. Failure to keep the original packaging may affect the ability to file a claim.

Depending on the situation, we may offer a replacement, refund, store credit, or other resolution.


17. Missing or Incorrect Items

If your order is missing an item or you received the wrong item, please contact us as soon as possible with your order number and a description of the issue.

We may request photos of the items received, packing materials, and shipping label.

If we confirm an error, we will work to correct the issue through a replacement, refund, return label, store credit, or other appropriate resolution.


18. High-Value Orders

High-value orders may require additional security measures, including:

  • Signature confirmation
  • Insurance
  • Adult signature, if applicable
  • Billing and shipping verification
  • Payment verification
  • Order review before shipment
  • Restricted shipping methods

We reserve the right to cancel or delay any order that cannot be verified or appears suspicious, fraudulent, or high risk.


19. Insurance

Some shipments may include insurance depending on the order value, shipping method, and platform requirements.

Insurance does not guarantee automatic refund or replacement. Claims may be subject to carrier approval, documentation, investigation, and processing timelines.

If additional insurance is desired, please contact us before placing your order or before the order ships.


20. International Shipping

International shipping may be available on select products and platforms.

International customers are responsible for all customs duties, import taxes, VAT, brokerage fees, tariffs, and other charges imposed by their country.

These charges are not included in the product price or shipping cost unless specifically stated.

Assembly is not responsible for delays caused by customs, import inspections, international carriers, or local postal services.

International orders may be subject to restrictions based on product type, destination country, marketplace rules, or carrier limitations.

If an international package is refused, abandoned, returned, or seized by customs, shipping charges and related fees may not be refundable.

For eBay international orders, shipping, customs, returns, and buyer protections may be handled under eBay’s international shipping program or other applicable eBay policies.


21. Preorders and Backorders

Preorder and backorder items will ship when available.

Release dates, arrival dates, and allocation quantities are not guaranteed. Manufacturers, distributors, and carriers may delay, reduce, or cancel product availability.

If an order contains both in-stock and preorder items, the entire order may ship together once all items are available unless separate shipping is arranged.

Additional shipping charges may apply if you request split shipments.


22. Order Cancellations Before Shipment

Cancellation requests must be made as soon as possible.

We cannot guarantee that an order can be canceled once processing has started.

If an order has already shipped, it cannot be canceled and may be handled according to our Return Policy.

For eBay orders, cancellations are subject to eBay’s order cancellation rules and timelines.


23. Return Shipping

Return shipping is handled according to our Return Policy.

Customers may be responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to an error by Assembly or another approved reason.

Returned items must be packaged securely. Assembly is not responsible for items damaged or lost during return shipping.

We recommend using a tracked shipping service for all returns.


24. Shipping Restrictions

We reserve the right to restrict shipping to certain locations, addresses, or customers.

We may be unable to ship to:

  • Certain international destinations
  • Freight forwarding addresses
  • Hotels or temporary addresses
  • P.O. Boxes for certain carriers or oversized items
  • Addresses flagged for fraud risk
  • Locations restricted by carrier, platform, legal, or product limitations

We reserve the right to cancel orders that cannot be shipped safely, legally, or reliably.
